This policy tells you exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

01 — Who We Are
ES23 is an independent creative and commerce framework — including StreetAware23, J World Foundation, and associated sub-labels — operated by BODS, the operating system behind es23.world, and legally registered under Qivu Entertainment, a sole trader based in Finland (EU).
Our digital home is es23.world, which encompasses the StreetAware shop, the J World Collection, BODS ghostwriting services, and the J World Foundation.

02 — What We Collect
When you make a purchase
Through WooCommerce and Stripe, we collect:
- Name, email address, billing and shipping address
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details)
- Order history and transaction records
When you contact us
Through contact forms, email, or BODS inquiries:
- Your name and email address
- The content of your message or creative brief
- Any files or materials you share with us
When you browse
Like most websites, we may collect:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and time spent (via analytics tools)
- Referral source (how you found us)
When you sign up for updates (coming soon)
When we launch our mailing list, we will collect your email address and, optionally, your name. You will always be able to unsubscribe at any time.
03 — Why We Collect It
- To process and fulfill your orders
- To communicate with you about your purchase or inquiry
- To provide ghostwriting and creative services through BODS
- To improve the shop and the overall ES23 experience
- To send updates, drops, and announcements — only if you opt in
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, GDPR requirements)
We do not sell your data. We do not trade it. We do not use it to follow you around the internet.
04 — Who We Share It With
We share your data only where necessary, with trusted third-party services:
- Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay — payment processing (their privacy policies apply to payment data)
- WooCommerce / WordPress — our shop platform
- Hostinger — web hosting and server infrastructure
- Shipping and fulfillment partners — only name and address, only when fulfilling your order
- Analytics tools — anonymised or aggregated data only
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for marketing purposes.
05 — GDPR & Your Rights
Because ES23 is based in Finland (EU), we operate under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to how we process your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis for processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi)

06 — How Long We Keep It
- Order records: 7 years (Finnish accounting and tax law)
- Contact and inquiry data: up to 2 years from last contact
- BODS creative briefs and project files: retained for the duration of our working relationship, then deleted upon request
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe
- Analytics data: typically 14 months, then anonymised or deleted
07 — Cookies
Our site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to make the shop function correctly, remember your cart, and understand how visitors use the site.
Types of cookies we may use:

08 — BODS — Ghostwriting Service
BODS is a confidential ghostwriting and creative service. All creative briefs, submitted materials, and project communications are handled with strict discretion.
- Your identity as a BODS client is never disclosed
- Materials you share are used solely to deliver your project
- We do not repurpose, reference, or publish any client work without explicit written consent
- Project data is deleted upon request after project completion
09 — J World Foundation
The J World Foundation is the nonprofit arm of ES23. Any data collected in relation to foundation activities, community programs, or partnership inquiries is handled separately from commercial shop data, under the same GDPR principles and with equal care.
10 — Children
ES23 does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
11 — Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — including SSL encryption, secure server infrastructure, and limited internal access. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously.
12 — Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of es23.world after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
